The Markham-Nathan Fund for Social Justice serves grassroots social justice groups in Western Massachusetts. Our annual Fall Grants provide up to $3000 to small activist organizations that are dedicated to organizing and supporting the poor and powerless for a more just and peaceful world.

- Western Mass Asylum Seeker Network
general support for immigrant asylum seekers sheltered in the area. - Traprock Center for Peace and Justice, Greenfield
supporting their program of training young peacemakers throughout the Valley. - Sojourner Truth School for Social Change
to provide stipends for the scores of trainers in this free social justice and peace school. - Trans Asylum Seeker Support Network (TASSN)
to provide monthly stipends for immigrant trans asylum seekers sheltered in the region. - Lower Valley Mutual Aid, Indian Orchard
for materials for safe learning pods for children during the pandemic in a low income community. - Shift Production
Coronavirus and Our Western MA Community: A Collection of Virtual Stories, to capture the impact and need wrought by the pandemic. - People’s Music Network, Greenfield
