“Demilitarize Western Massachusetts is excited to accept a Fall 2025 grant award from the Markham-Nathan Fund for Social Justice. Their generosity will financially sustain our commitment to sounding the alarm on local war profiteers whose purpose of fueling genocide, war, and human suffering we reject.
The funds will be utilized for the printing of outreach and informational flyers as we strive to increase public awareness for L3Harris’ role in fueling war profiteers and garnering support to get them out of our city. We will purchase art supplies, props, and technical equipment, including a new sound system, all of which are needed for our ongoing demonstrations and rallies at L3Harris. Finally, the funds will allow us to continue the important work of growing and coalescing with mutually aligned movements through trainings, co-organizing, and other forms of movement building.” Chelsea
