“Connecticut River Defenders will focus on increasing contact with, growing and activating constituents and moving the needle on public opinion about the dangers and damage caused by the Northfield Pumped Storage Project. CRD will develop a media and communications plan to refine our outreach strategies and utilize social and traditional media more effectively.
In addition, we will explore more strategic alliances, especially with Indigenous groups, to collaboratively support the mutual goal of protecting and honoring the ecology and life of the river.
