Nueva Esperanza is one of our grantees from the Spring 2021 granting cycle. Thank you for all your work.

“We would first like to thank the Markham-Nathan fund for their generous contribution to Nueva Esperanza and Neighbor 2 Neighbor for operation costs involving our joint collaboration on our bi-weekly food drive.  Our program helps to feed the needs of about 500 families with economic disparities. This program has allowed our organizations to build a strong volunteer base, as well as strengthening our communication with members of the community as to what other programs are in need within the Holyoke community. The funds will be allocated to the printing and distribution of materials advertising the food drive so that we can have a greater impact on the problem of food disparities in the city of Holyoke. The printed materials combined with the power of door knocking will help us to expand our reach into the entirety of the city of Holyoke so that we can continue to grow the services we are offering and reach more families in need.” Kayla Rodriguez, Nueva Esperanza, operation manager
